  • "Alex is kind, knowledgeable, gentle, respectful and empathetic. I recommend her practice to anyone but especially to trauma survivors who struggle with being touched. She will help you stay calm and grounded in triggering situations. I chose to do a hospital birth and it was extremely difficult for me. Alex helped me remember what I needed and say no to induction, which I believe would have led me to an unwanted c section. She'll help you advocate for yourself if you want a "natural" birth, but she's not going to judge you if you choose to get an epidural (I did even though I thought I wouldn't). I'm so grateful she was there for us and that she was one of the first people to hold our baby."

  • "Working with Alex as my doula was a blessing from start to finish. As a first-time expectant mother, I sought someone who could provide support and calm throughout pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. From our first meeting, Alex's professionalism and dedication were evident. She listened attentively, offering compassionate guidance and empowering me every step of the way. Throughout pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum, Alex was an integral part of my support team. Her intuitive understanding and unwavering support provided comfort and reassurance during uncertain times. During labor, her calming presence and support helped me navigate with confidence. Even in the postpartum period, Alex continued to be a pillar of support, offering guidance and encouragement. I wholeheartedly recommend Alex to anyone seeking a doula who is skilled, professional, compassionate, and supportive. Thank you, Alex, for your exceptional support and dedication!"

  • "Alex was my doula for my Dec 2023 baby. I’m a first time mom and I knew I needed additional support, but I was unsure how to fully utilize a doula. Alex explained the process, had thoughtful questions, and provided a warm presence from our first meeting. Alex checked in with me after my doctor’s appointments and helped with clarifying health questions to ask. My little one came 2 weeks early and Alex was there every step of the way. She provided a wonderful ambiance for our hospital room and really pushed me to try different positions and techniques through labor. To everyone’s surprise, my baby was born sunny side up after hours of pushing. I felt like giving up many times- I honestly think that without Alex, I would’ve had a c-section. I’m thankful to Alex and the role she played in my care team!"

  • " I knew I wanted a doula, to serve as an advocate and emotional/ physical support, and was lucky to come across Alex. From our first session to the last, Alex was always insightful and took the time to hear out all my concerns and found ways to help me. She further expanded my knowledge on labor & delivery, postpartum, and newborns and gave me outside resources when I wanted more. During labor she pulled out all the works, from candles to music, she set the mood in my delivery room and everyone from doctors to nurses appreciated walking in. From awesome foot massages to words of encouragement she always made sure I was priority and her constant attention greatly helped to put my mind at ease, I knew I could achieve labor the way I dreamed, but she helped make it happen for me and without her I don't believe it would've been as successful as it was. • "From our initial zoom interview with Alex, we knew she was the right choice to be our doula. As first time parents, we felt more than a little out of our depth, and Alex was so good at answering all of our questions and just making us feel like we were equipped to handle everything, going over every eventuality. She was with us through a birth that didn't go quite as planned, with a failed epidural, thirty six hours of labor, and a c-section. But Alex's steady presence made it all so much better than it could have been. From writing out a birth plan to constant encouragement and hand-holding during contractions, she was there for every step, and we couldn't be more grateful to her for helping us bring our little boy into the world."
