  • Kate

Kate is a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Integrative Lactation Feeding Specialist. As an experienced Doula and birthing person herself, Kate’s goal is to provide evidence-based information to empower expecting parents to make informed choices for their birth! We can’t control the outcome but with a flexible mindset, information of the different choices that may arise, and a supportive birth team, birth can be a powerful and positive experience.

Kate enjoys teaching folks about the wonders of human milk and lactation. As an ILFS, she supports families in whatever way works best for them: be it body feeding, pumping, formula or any combination of these. Setting up a plan for success is essential, while knowing plans can change. Any way you feed your baby is incredible!

Kate also loves teaching families about infant care. Babies come with a lot of unexpected noises, movements and behaviors. Knowing what’s normal, as well as some techniques for caring for babies before they arrive can help parents have more confidence in caring for their little ones.
