  • Ildi

    Ildi is a mother, a wife, a daughter, an educator, and dedicated labor support person who believes everyone deserves support during the perinatal phase of their lives. Since 2013, she has dedicated herself to supporting others through knowledge, care and compassion. As a birth and postpartum doula and childbirth educator, she support individuals and families throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum.

    Ildi believes that everyone should receive evidence-based, unbiased information to be able to self-advocate and choose the care they desire for the best possible perinatal experience. She makes sure that your questions are answered, your concerns are alleviated and your pregnancy and birth are treasured for the rest of your life.

    Having lived and worked in four different countries around the world, and with fluency in three languages, she has a unique appreciation of cultural, linguistic and spiritual nuances. Now, she currently lives in Mamaroneck, NY with her husband and two daughters. She loves hiking, cooking and skiing!

  • Alaska

    Alaska is a Birthing Advocacy Certified Childbirth Educator, Certified Lactation Counselor, Hypnobirthing and Carriage House Certified birth doula and homebirth midwife birth assistant (Neonatal Resuscitation Program / CPR Certified). She supports all family styles, birth environments, and sensation management preferences. She brings a unique ability to connect with and support parents using a balance of humor and ritual.

    As a doula, Alaska believes in the innate ability each individual has to give birth powerfully, uniquely, in a safe and supported space and on one’s own terms. Coming to birth-work with an awe for what she believes is a powerfully transformative liminal threshold, she seeks to help create supported and empowering birth experiences. She has experience with high risk, induction, VBAC/HBAC and home birth. Alaska identifies as a queer woman, and is LGBTQIA+ friendly, as well as Trans/ENBY support trained.

  • Kate

    Kate is a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Integrative Lactation Feeding Specialist. She provides inclusive, judgement-free support to all families. With one foot in woo and one in medicine, she believes births are unique, depending on the birthing person, their family, their culture, and their ideal birth. Kate believes the birth and postpartum periods are beautiful and really vulnerable. She considers it to be a great honor to be present in supporting folks as their families grow.

    Kate lives in Flatbush, Brooklyn with her partner Morgan, their babies Clementine and Monte, and fur-baby Gus. Originally from Philly, Kate comes from a huge family (that has 8 kids and lots of pets) and has been in childcare since her teenage years. She’s worked as a babysitter and nanny throughout her life and birth work was a natural transition. Kate is also a former bartender and comedic improviser and finds both the service industry and improv skills are extremely valuable when it comes to raising a family and supporting others while they do so.

  • Eugy

    Eugenia is a certified childbirth educator and lactation counselor, as well as a birth and postpartum doula. Her passion of caring for people and her belief in the importance of the mind, body and soul connection has led her to support over 100 plus families in their family and birth planning journey. As a doula, Eugenia has a profound respect and appreciation for the birthing parent’s journey into parenthood. Families need support as they grow. Eugenia is there to help you identify which areas in your life you need the most support and assist you with coming up with a plan that works for you and your family. As a new mom herself, Eugenia understands how essential it is time to have someone in your corner cheering you on as you navigate this big transition in your lives! 

    Eugenia offers a non-judgmental and caring approach to the birthing parent-to-be and family. She is supportive and promotes self-advocacy and curiosity. Eugenia will honor your decisions, show you compassion and encourage you through the labor experience. She is committed to offering support that is gentle and whole, centering culture and wellness and body autonomy and she would love to support you during this big moment in your lives! 

  • Sam

    Sam was called to birth work after years in the mental health health field working with children and families. Doula work combined her passions for supporting the well-being of people in her community, combating systemic injustices, and centering mindful family care.

    Sam’s role in the birth and postpartum space is to provide emotional, spiritual, physical, and informational support to families. She makes every effort to encourage clients’ educated decision-making, reassure them throughout the perinatal experience, as well as help them advocate for their birthing choices both in and out of the delivery room. Through a mindful combination of evidence-based techniques, effective comfort measures, and cultural practices, she fosters a positive birth and postpartum environment for the birthing person and their entire family.

    In addition to birth and postpartum work, in her free time she also enjoys practicing yoga, creating art, cooking delicious foods, and spending time in nature.

  • Genevieve

    Genevieve is a Certified Full-Spectrum Doula trained by Doula Trainings International and Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), as well as a LacPro trained by Go Milk Yourself. With experience in Comforting Touch and her background in coaching, Genevieve supports people through the monumental life experience of birth with power, freedom, and ease regardless of what happens along the way.

    She spent twelve years living abroad, most notably in the Netherlands where home birth is the norm - this has influenced her greatly as a doula. She also lived in Japan and studied in Spain and France. Along with being multilingual (fluent Dutch, intermediate Spanish, and conversational French and Japanese), Genevieve has a special capacity to be with people from all backgrounds. She is culturally competent and supportive of LGBTQIA+ families as well as solo parents.

  • Jaye

    Jaye attended her first birth while in college and fell under the birth-spell of life-affirming transformation that is the gift of the work of labor, delivery and the childbearing year.  She has learned from her own reproductive journey much of what she shares as a Perinatal Health Educator.  She lives in South Slope, Brooklyn with her  husband Spike. She has received education and training in  The Manhattan Birth Masters Program where she has trained as an Advanced Holistic, Hospital and Postpartum Doula with The Matrona and as an Integrated Lactation and Feeding Specialist.  Additionally, Jaye is a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor with certifications in CPR, and NRP. Jaye particularly loves the wonder weeks of the 4th trimester, supporting, negotiating and reinforcing with confidence, the overnights and first weeks of newborn care in the ever changing landscape of growing outside of the womb and into your lives as newborn parents.
