Note on scheduling times:

• We strongly recommend that you book classes scheduled to complete by your 35th week of pregnancy.

• If you book a class past 35 weeks and go into labor before the scheduled class, there will be no refund.

• If you go into premature labor before 35 weeks and before the scheduled class, you will receive a full refund, minus a 3% credit card processing fee.

Cancellations/no-shows:

• Cancellations more than 15 days before the scheduled class will incur a $30 cancellation fee.

• Cancellations less than 15 days before the scheduled class or no-shows will not be refunded. You will have the option to schedule a private class for the cost difference, if there is availability.

• If you were not able to attend the class, we can provide the slides and handouts of the class you were scheduled to attend.

Rescheduling:

• If you need to reschedule a class 15+ days before the scheduled class, there is a $30 administrative fee as long as there is availability.

• Requests to reschedule less than 15 days before the scheduled class cannot be honored. You will have the option to book a private class for the cost difference, if there is availability. Alternatively, we can provide you with the slides and handouts of the class that you are unable to attend.

Adjustments to scheduled classes:

• We will make every effort to provide the classes as scheduled. We reserve the right to alter class times due to low enrollment or educator emergencies. Occasionally the class may turn out to be private if you are the only registrant or if other registrants cancel/reschedule at the last minute.

• In case we need to cancel a class or the adjusted time does not work for you, you will have to option to:

• Transfer registration to later scheduled class

• Upgrade to a private session for the cost of the difference

• Receive a full refund (minus the 3% credit card fee)

Booking doula services:

• If at any point you’d like to book doula services with any one of our educators please book services through NYC Birth Village.
